WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration is seeking public comment on a request to release 14.67 acres and a 1956 hangar at Smyrna Airport in Tennessee from federal obligations.

The Smyrna/Rutherford County Airport Authority requested the release and sale of the property to Tennessee. The action would support relocation of the 118th Wing of the Tennessee Air National Guard from Nashville International Airport to Smyrna Airpo . . .
