WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has adopted a final airworthiness directive requiring inspections of certain Bell Textron Canada Ltd., Fort Worth, Texas, Model 505 helicopters after identifying a production issue involving the installation of a washer on the tail rotor pitch link assembly that could compromise flight safety.
